My Shepherd's Voice

 How I long to sit at Your feet Lord Jesus

to just listen for Your voice...

to hear what You have to say

is very important for me to hear.


Just like Mary and Martha in Your holy word,

I can get so busy ...

that I don't take the time 

to really sit in Your Presence and just listen

to what You have to say,

but I do today...


I just long to hear your heartbeat

 and know what You are really passionate about...

I make this my prayer today...

Lead and guide me by Your voice I pray...


All the voices that are in this world,

shout to be the loudest...

and dominate me to make quick decisions.

Help me to patiently wait for that still small voice

it is not always as loud as thunder

it's more like a cool breeze on a fall day,

a rustle of the leaves gently blowing around the trees...

I know that Your voice will never go

contrary to the holy Word of God


Your voice is as sweet and sincere

as the sparrow sings its praise

on an early morning

as the sun rises over the giant trees


Why do I make this so difficult Father?

Silence all the loud voices

that seem to scream in my mind...

that is not you Jesus.

For You do not yell to get my attention...


I surrender to Your Holy Spirit, this day...

lead me and guide me to hear the voice of GOD

Help me to be sensitive and recognize 

the voice of my Shepherd...

Across the midnight clouds... Above the stormy sky. Lord Jesus, I lift Your name  on high. Above the chaos,  and the crime... while on this earth  dark shadows fall. I see a brightness, beyond the night. I see a mortal soul, fighting for life... But then I see in a vision... A path designed for me. I see a cross prepared for me... Above the stains of sweat and blood... I see a glimpse of Heaven's throne. Not my will ABBA... but thine be true. I give all the glory  to You. No more living this life for me Above the clouds, Across the sky... Lord Jesus,  I lift your name on high.

Even Now LORD GOD (20)

Even Now LORD GOD... I hear the sound of mighty rushing waters, gushing from the courts of the Most High... Flowing from the throne of Jesus in Heaven, that ever-living supply... that will never ever run dry. His grace so free  that His mercy supplies... From the river that flows forevermore for you and me. Wash us in that water... cleanse us we pray. Take away all sin, do not allow it to get in the way... Not by might, nor by power... but by My Spirit says the sovereign Lord Jesus. Our hearts cry before you, Let the power of the holy anointing  fall upon us, Even now LORD GOD... Break all shackles, release us...  from the snares of the fowler, by Your awesome strength... Break the chains of sin from us now . enable us to worship You, In Spirit and Truth... bowing our hearts before you now. Help us to walk in Your freedom Even now LORD GOD... this day,  in Jesus' name...
